Is your LinkedIn Account filling your Social Media Recruitment Requirements?

For doing Social Recruitment, LikedIn is a very useful Social Network.

but be careful how you use it
To have a good linkedIn account does not necessarily mean to have a lot of contacts, but to have the proper ones. And what really makes the difference between having success or not when recruiting on the Social Media is to join the right groups where your candidates are also joined to.

To join gorups is not difficult. Just seek for those you think your candidates are joined to, and do the same. At a first glimpse you may think it is better to join the big groups with a lot of members. You have to realize that in these groups your discussions will be publisehed among hundreds of other ones, so perhaps it would be better to find not such bigger groups where your posts could be more visible.

Are they being published?
Once you had joined the groups you want to, start posting your jobs will be easy using a professional recruitment tool but it´s crucial from time to time to check whether they had been published or not. Why?, because if they are not published, candidates won´t see your job offers and they will not apply for them.

For checking whether yous posts have published or not, see your activity, by clicking below your photo and afterwards on the several options on the left hand side menu. Check what your latest posts are, when they have been published, if they are pending submissions and, if you remember when you sent them, if they have been deleted or not.

If you observe your posts are not published by the Group Manager, send him/her an email explaining your situation. Sometimes it is as easy as removing your profile from the moderation queue to see all your posts published.

And if nobody answers you, just leave that group or at least be aware it is not a good social site to post on your positions.
